John Volkoff has repeatedly demonstrated his ability to develop a vision for accomplishment of projects, lead and participate in the implementation the specific tasks necessary to achieve that vision, and satisfy client goals. Much of his experience is in the regulation of nuclear power plants. This includes development of a process for development of a commercial nuclear license in the United Arab Emirates, nuclear regulatory compliance work for the Pebble Bed Nuclear Reactor in South Africa, license implementation for a European enrichment facility design in New Mexico, and multiple licensing and compliance activities at three nuclear power plants in the US.
John has also implemented a bilateral US military agreement in the Central Asia, conducted non-proliferation activities in Central Asia, and was the project engineer for a security upgrade project at the US Embassy in Rome. During this time, Mr. Volkoff also served as an officer in the US Navy Reserves, supporting US Navy activities in many countries and throughout the US, receiving many commendations for his work. Mr. Volkoff began his career as a submarine officer.
These experiences have demonstrated Mr. Volkoff’s ability to envision a success path for projects, develop a plan to meet project goals, and lead and participate in the implementation of the plan. Mr. Volkoff work well with senior management, technical personnel, and all levels of management in between, to form the team to get work done and goals met.
