Security Engineering Associates (SEA) is a security engineering firm with interest in the development of Physical Security Plans (PSP) Security Assessment (SA) Cyber Security Plans (CSP) for the government, commercial, and private sectors.

SEA has current experience dealing with international programs involving physical security for government facilities, corporate facilities and industrial complexes. SEA can provide a program that will support current and future expansion of the facility and its associated infrastructure.

Security Engineering Associates (SEA) is an international security analysis / security assessment consulting firm headquartered in Newark, DE, with operations in Europe, Africa, Central Asia, and the Middle East.

 

SEA offers a coordinated approach to security and emergency planning for governmental and private cliental. SEA experience has been gained through a history of successful implementations of security analysis / security assessment on behalf of the U.S. Department of State (DoS); The Department of Defense (DoD); The SEA team provides experience gained through 12 years of security assessment and physical security improvements at Embassies and industrial complexes worldwide.

 

Whether the site was in a planning stage or actually experiencing security threats or emergency situations S.E.A. provided support in the form of onsite assessment, local asset evaluation, logistical evaluation and practical real time schedule implementation evaluations.

 

The SEA team is made up of knowledgeable, field experienced personnel with ability and tenacity to evaluate and assess in true value assumptions. Experienced in security analysis, physical security evaluation and emergency planning of greenfield (new site) operations or existing operating facilities allows SEA to give the true value element that will be invaluable to the client.

Security Engineering Associates have been deployed to many areas throughout the globe. Whether it was a new developing nation, a country trying to maintain its position in the world order or a well established stable world partner SEA was able to provide valuable information for current and future planning. Due to the nature of the security and emergency planning that was involved working for the US State Department and their Foreign Service SEA participated in the cooperation between host countries and the United States Government (USG.) Protecting the US Embassy provided many interesting and challenging experiences which S.E.A. capitalized on to provide expeditious and satisfying results.  Internationally SEA has been involved in security assessment, security analysis, emergency planning and physical security improvements in thirty four (34) nations. The work has involved assessments and planning to employ best means to protect USG facilities, private sector facilities, Foreign Service personnel, US citizenry, and local employees working for USG functions or private sector companies.

 

SEA seeks and establishes cooperation with local government official which has helped to established long term relations that have helped to support future relations with these countries. Understanding local governmental policies, working within the local structure, and understanding the limitations in local personnel abilities / experience and material access has helped Security Engineering Associates (SEA) provide an analysis that is factual and applicable.

SEA has thirty years of experience in the private and public sector in design / engineering onsite management and consulting. SEA has demonstrated expertise under difficult circumstances while accomplishing complicated tasks that meet or exceed the customer’s expectations.

SEA has been charged with taking design / builds documents and applying the necessary talents to construct structures and facilities. This task requires integrating governmental, international, and site specific regulations, codes, and specifications. SEA strives to deliver a final project that is both on time and under budget. SEA consistently uses the talents of its staff and colleagues for abilities and insight on how to bring the best of the trade to the project.

Throughout SEA project management experience the management team has been subject to difficult situations under adverse circumstances due to overseas international conflicts. Managing large work forces from foreign countries requires the competence to deal with local trade groups and governmental figures while allowing for language and cultural differences.

Recently SEA was tasked with handling specialized security work for various agencies. SEA managed multiple sites and was charged with understanding the needs and requirements of the sites while meeting regulations and the individual circumstances of each site. This required managing facility coordination and functionality during the construction, burn-in and turn over to the client, SEA specialized in maximizing efficiencies of personnel and equipment within the region and optimizing the protection of the facilities and its personnel which resulted in success, admiration and financially rewarding results.
