This is some of the rugged areas that SEA have had experience working in under some of the harshest conditions. The Tian Shan Range lies to the north and west of the Taklamakan Desert in the border region of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of western China.
These anti-ram walls were constructed to protect the U.S. Embassy in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. Temperatures range from 115 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer to -30 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter.
