Mission Statement

Security Engineering Associates Protective Services (SEA-PS) provides protective services to executives, their associates, colleagues, families and friends. SEA-PS provides a multi-layer of protection from the workplace to the residence whether the designation is domestic or international.

SEA-PS applies training and knowledge that has been gained from our staff of former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) personnel, Department of State, Diplomatic Security (DoS/DS) personnel, Secret Service (USSS) personnel or other specialized protective agencies from within the United States Government (USG.) These professional; apply their skills and knowledge to protect, defend and secure the client(s) from harm's way.

SEA-PS has a history of protection of high profile/high value individuals who conduct their businesses in many areas of the world. The individual that are protected have enormous responsibilities and require focused protection for his or hers family, friends and business associates.

SEA-PS has supported these individuals whether they are Business Executives of large corporation, Foreign Service Officers operating in friendly or hostile locations, or persons of wealth or importance that require a high level of discretion and unobtrusive protection.

SEA-PS has had the privilege to work directly with the FBI, DoS/DS and the USSS in the past providing protective services whether in the form of physical protection, electronic protection or personal protection. Many of the lessons learned have been applied to improve SEA-PS ability to provide protective services to the client.

SEA-PS recognizes the threats facing an executive vary widely depending on the size of the company, the industry it belongs to and the individual executive's profile. Corporate Chief Security Officers (CSO) in oft-targeted sectors such as the financial services, pharmaceutical and energy industries, and those with executives based overseas, worry about kidnapping, carjacking, mail-borne explosives, biological agents and Eco terrorism. The Corporate CSO who staff protects the executive in the executive work environment, looks for support from SEA-PS to assure the executive and his or her colleagues, business associates, family and friends are safe when they are away from the protective controls of the corporate environment.

Given the range of risks involved, the Corporate CSOs who have managed executive protection programs know that protecting an individual is a very different discipline from securing a corporate facility or manufacturing plant. A top executive not only cannot be locked down but, unlike a building with a single egress point, there are numerous ways for an attacker to get to an executive, including through family members. SEA-PS knows that Executives will also rebel against onerous security restrictions. SEA-PS faces the challenge of calibrating protection that serves their client's needs while also making that security palatable to the executives who have to live with it.
